New Mexico State Police Officer Bert Lopez was honored in July for going above and beyond the call of duty.  Now it appears going well above and beyond has gotten him in some hot water.

Now, he’s on paid leave and facing possible disciplinary action for an incident that has caused embarrassment to the department.

Images surfaced Monday  and were posted on websites across the country by Tuesday morning — showing him in police uniform having sex in during the day with an girl on the hood of her car outside the gate of a county owned facility south of Santa Fe New Mexico.

John Edwards Rielle Hunter Sex TapeJohn Edwards mistress wants her private sextape back, but Edwards  former aide is holding on to it and rejecting offers to sell it.

“We haven’t done anything with the sex tape,”  Andrew Young a former Edwards aide told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “Good Morning America” today. “We were offered gigantic amounts of money, and we said no.”

Edwards mistress  Rielle Hunter filed a lawsuit against Young and his wife, seeking damages for invasion of privacy and demanding the return of the sextape she said in legal documents “depicted matters of a very private and personal nature.” Young’s attorney stopped North Carolina deputies who showed up at his office to retrieve it.

Rielle Hunter alleges Andrew Young stole the sex tape from her and swiped photos of her daughter, Frances Quinn, from her camera and laptop. Young denies those accusations, saying he obtained the sex tape from a box of trash and that Hunter uploaded photos to his family’s laptop when she was living with them.
